Southern Railway has announced some special trains to clear extra rush for Onam 2011, Ramzan and Vinayaga Chathurthi (Ganesh Chaturthi) 2011.

1. Nagercoil – Mangalore (via Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Shoranur and Kannur) : 06304 at 4:50pm on 29th Aug from Nagercoil and 06303 from Mangalore at 1:35pm on 30th Aug.

2. Coimbatore – Chennai Central Superfast : 06616 from Coimbaore on 30th Aug at 10:45pm and 06617 from Chennai on 31st Aug at 10:30pm

3. Chennai Central – Mangalore (via Coimbatore) : 06067 from Chennai on 7th Sep at 8:45pm and 06068 on 8th Sep at 8:30 from Mangalore

4. Chennai Central – Nagercoil (via Erode, Ernakulam, Kottayam and Trivandrum) : 06069 from Chennai Central at 11:30 on 7th Sep
